Elections

Updated to add: Elections for today (May 21) have been postponed until Monday May 24 due to an error on the ballots . . . Sigh - one more day for government offices to be closed.

Tomorrow begins the first of many (5 possibly 6) election in Burundi. This election season is long - it runs May 21 to September 7 and it includes a pivotal Presidential election (and possible run-off).

From allAfrica- this article includes a brief description of Burundi's recent tumultuous history: Country Faces Major Test as Poll Season Begins

Please pray for peace and for leaps and bounds to be made towards political maturity.
